Configuring the Password for the Integrity Server
After successfully installing the IPA agent, you can change the Integrity Server password using the Integrity Server Connection Configuration dialog box. If you change the password of the Integrity Server, ensure that the password stored with the IPA agent is also changed after installing the IPA agent.
When the IPA agent is installed on Windows, the IPA Agent Configuration program is added to the Windows startup programs list, and a shortcut is added to your desktop. When you select this program from the startup programs list, or start it from the desktop, the Integrity Server Connection Configuration dialog box that enables you to change the password opens.
If the IPA agent is installed on Linux or Solaris, you can open the Integrity Server Connection Configuration dialog box by running the ipa-agent-ui-configuration script located in the <IPA_Agent_Install_Path/bin directory.
The Integrity Server Connection Configuration dialog contains information about the server and provides options as described below:
Hostname—Displays the host name of the Integrity Server with which IPA connects to send data to PTC.
Port—Displays the port number of the above Integrity Server.
Service Contract Number——Displays the service contract number for the installed Integrity Server.
Username—Type the user name of an Integrity Server user with AdminServer or DebugServer permissions.
Password—Type the password for the above Integrity Server.
Customer Number—Displays the customer number.
To update the password, click Update and restart the service or process.
Perform the following steps to restart the service on Windows:
Stop the service. For details, see Configuring the IPA Agent Service.

Perform the following steps to restart the process on Linux or Solaris:
