3. Accept the agreement terms and click Next. The Data Collection Details page opens. This page provides details about the contents of the support package that will be sent to PTC.

5. Click Next. The Installation Location screen opens.
6. Browse to select the location to install the IPA (Integrity Performance Advisor) agent or click Restore Default Folder to use the default installation location.
Note:
If you select a location that has a previous installation of IPA agent, an appropriate message is displayed.
7. Click Next. The Integrity Server Details screen opens.
Enter the following details:
Integrity Server Host Name—The host name of the Integrity Server for which the IPA agent is being deployed. The IPA agent establishes a connection with this server for collecting and sending the data to PTC.
Note:
PTC recommends installing a single IPA agent per Integrity Server though multiple installations of IPA agent for a single Integrity Server is allowed.
Integrity Server Port Number—The port number of the Integrity Server specified in the earlier step. Ensure that you enter a secure port if Integrity Server is configured with SSL and a clear port in other cases.
Username and Password—The user name and password for a user of the Integrity Server user. This user must have AdminServer or DebugServer permissions. These permissions are required to generate the support package.
SSL Enabled—Select this option to ensure that IPA agent works with Integrity Server that is configured for SSL. It is recommended that this Integrity Server has certificates signed by a recognized Certificate Authority (CA). However, the IPA agent also works with Integrity Servers with self-signed certificates. A warning recommending to have trusted certificates is provided before you go to the next installation step.
8. Click Next. Your credentials are checked. If your credentials are not valid, you cannot proceed with the installation. If your credentials are valid, the PTC.com Connection Details screen opens. Enter the following details:
Service Contract Number (SCN)—The Service Contract Number (SCN) for a particular Integrity installation. A check is made to verify the SCN. If the number is invalid, an appropriate error message is displayed.
PTC.com username and PTC.com password—Credentials for the user having access to the ePortal site. If either the user name or password is incorrect, an error message is displayed.
9. Click Install.
10. Click Done and close the installer when the installation is complete.
Note:
If data communication fails, an appropriate error message is displayed. You need to contact PTC Technical Support to resolve the issue.
See Configuring the IPA Agent Service for details on how the IPA agent is installed on Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
After successful installation, the IPA agent continues to execute, and communicates with Integrity Server to generate the support package at the configured time.
