Processing Support Packages
The collected support packages are processed before sending them to PTC for further analysis. Processing involves modification of the support package data. The data that is not required for diagnosis is deleted to keep the size of the support package to a minimum. A serverinfo.properties file containing the Integrity Server details such as the host name, port, customer number, service contract number, product build, and product release, is added.
The following data is deleted from the support package:
All server logs that are collected beyond 24 hours.
All garbage collection files that are collected beyond 24 hours.
Stack traces that are collected beyond 24 hours.
All Server statistics that are collected during last 24 hours.
The processed support packages are stored in a separate folder, the location of which is specified in the IPAConfiguration.properties file.
